is a Michigan preemption bill that was introduced in January 2019. Its aim is to outlaw breed specific legislation (BSL) throughout the state. HB 4035 would strip the authority from local governments to enact or to keep their existing breed safety ordinances which are designed to protect residents. HB 4035 compromises public safety and removes authority from local governments. This bill was written and promoted by a fanatical, out of state, special interest animal rights group.
We will be asking for donations to distribute information to legislators. In addition we need volunteers to gather information/stats, recruit volunteers, fundraise, pass out information to legislators, contact legislators via phone, contact your own legislator, attend Committee meetings in Lansing and testify before House and Senate.
